The typical products of Agerola’s territory excel in the numerous feasts organized from July to November, on the occasion of the Saint Patrons’ celebrations (subject to modifications):

In December and January, the principal event is the Living Nativity in Campora hamlet, a representation of the Neapolitan crib, where you could take part in a tasting of rich gastronomy menu that ends with the typical Christmas donuts.
During the Holy Week, from Sunday before Easter, there are the intense religious celebrations: the Way of the Cross, the Procession of the Dead Christ on Good Friday, the folk procession of the Battenti, the ritual of visiting the sepulchers set up in seven churches of Agerola.
During this week Agerola’s roads smell of the unmistakable aroma of Neapolitan pies “pastiere” and “casatielli”.
Agerola’s delicatessen is not only cold cuts and dairy products but also pear jam, Nocino liqueur, taralli and almonds, typical bread, piennolo cherry tomatoes, etc.
